Our services would be quite unlike the standard Church service where you arrive at a building with a few hundred people with a few minutes before the concert - I mean, worship - starts, grab your coffee, find a seat in a comfy pew, awkwardly shake someone's hand who shouldn't be a stranger by this point, and turn into a spectator for an hour or so.
Rather, we do not confine ourselves to such a structured and "cold" approach. While services aim to start at 9 and likely wouldn't go past 12, they consist of meaningful worship, deep fellowship, and a thorough dive into the Word and message for the day.
The atmosphere is one of humility, bonding, and comfort.
Jesus didn't gather without ensuring His people were fed in both the Spirit and the body, so naturally we ensure a fresh meal is provided and available to everyone in attendance.
We encourage anyone to come dressed comfortably, modestly, and appropriately. How you present yourself and what you adorn yourself with has been proven to dictate your mindset, so Pajamas might not be the best choice; however, by no means would we expect the polar opposite and demand you show up in a 3-piece suit or formal dress.
Just ensure you put on the Armor of God and listen to your convictions.
Bring yourself, any friends or family you would like, a devoted mindset, and if you have one, a Bible.
If you are new to the Faith or just curious about Jesus, then please bring only your ears and an open heart - we will take care of the rest.
If you feel convicted to get baptized in both water and the Holy Spirit, you can bring with you a change of clothes as well.
God provides His Holy Spirit in a one-size-fits-all measure. There is not a light-version of the Holy Spirit made just for children, and in fact, Jesus describes Children hearing His word with great reverence.
Matthew 19:13-14
“Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’”
There are many other instances in Scripture describing how we are to treat and raise children, but the overall gist of it is that we highly encourage you to bring your children and have them not only listen, but participate in diving into God's Word.
